Presentation Abstract
This session will cover how to get started building iOS applications with C# and .NET. We'll review the fundamentals of iOS development and how MonoTouch fits in. We'll discuss how MonoTouch works to produce native iOS applications and walk through some examples showing a variety of frameworks available under iOS and MonoTouch.
About the Presenter
Michael Bluestein has been working with MonoTouch since the first private beta release and is an active member of the MonoTouch community. He is the author of Learning MonoTouch, A Hands-On Guide to Building iOS Applications with C# and .NET. His applications are among the first using MonoTouch to be published in Apple’s App Store. A former Principal Software Engineer at Dassault Systèmes Solidworks Corporation, he has developed software professionally since the early 90s.
